I’ve used Chami as a driver and guide on multiple occasions and have also recommended him to family and friends, all of whom have been delighted with his service. He is exceptionally knowledgeable, with many years of experience, and seems to know every corner of Sri Lanka. Chami has guided hundreds of travellers and has a real talent for tailoring each trip to individual preferences. On my first visit, I relied heavily on his suggestions, and he consistently recommended excellent places for shopping, dining, sightseeing, and activities that suited me perfectly. He strikes a rare balance of being warm, friendly, and personable while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Importantly, as a mature woman travelling alone on one occasion, I felt completely safe and very well looked after at all times. We engaged Olympus Tours and Chaminda, as our driver for 15 days for what was an amazing holiday in Sri Lanka. My Fiancée and I loved the holiday and a big part of that was how easy Chaminda made our time. Having Chaminda with us, gave us so much extra time that the cost was extremely reasonable. We hired Chaminda for our entire holiday, from being at the airport as we arrived and him instantly putting us at ease and making our arrival comfortable, right through to dropping us off with, smiles and hugs. Through out the trip, Chaminda was fantastic. His driving was so calm we had to fight off sleep at times in order to watch the beautiful country of Sri Lanka go by. His suggestions on where to visit and the little extra places we hadn't researched were always welcome and added so much value to our trip. His knowledge of Sri Lanka was matching ChatGPT... His choice of places to eat was excellent and we were able to really explore the joys of Sri Lankan food. Chaminda's company and his warm smile was always a welcome joy to our day. If you are a couple or group that has an interest in getting to know Sri Lanka and seeing all it has to offer, the Chaminda is your man. Whether you turn up prepared or unprepared, he will still be able to add something to your holiday and way beyond the convenience of him just being there when you need to go. I can't recommend Chaminda highly enough. He was just perfect for us.
